The most significant of them are:

University of Stuttgart, it is the fourth biggest university in Baden-Württemberg after Heidelberg, Tübingen and Freiburg. Founded in 1829, it was a Technische Hochschule ("Technical University") until 1967, when it was renamed to "university". Its campus for social sciences and architecture is located in the city centre, near the main train station, while the natural science campus is in the southwestern city district of Vaihingen. Historically, its been especially renowned for its faculty of architecture (Stuttgarter Schule). Today, its main focus is on engineering and other technical subjects.

University of Hohenheim, founded in 1818 as an academy for agricultural science and forestry. While these subjects are still taught there today, its other focus today is on business administration. It is located in Hohenheim quarter of the southern city district of Plieningen.

State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, founded in 1857, located in the city centre, next to the Neue Staatsgalerie.

State Academy of Visual Arts Stuttgart, one of the biggest art colleges in Germany, founded in 1761, located in the Killesberg quarter of the northern city district Stuttgart-Nord.

College of Media, founded in 2001, a merger of the former College of Printing and Publishing and the College of Librarianship, located in Vaihingen.
University of Applied Science Stuttgart, founded in 1832 as a college for craftsmanship, university of applied science since 1971, located in the city centre, near the University of Stuttgart's city-centre campus.

University of Cooperative Education Baden-Württemberg, founded in 1974, with a focus on practical experience, subjects are business, technology and social work.

in Stuttgart go to Shoping

Stuttgart for meeting, or events, or just vacation and shopping
Konigstrasse is lined with large department stores and elegant shops selling specialist goods and international designer labels. In the market square at the heart of the city there is Breuninger, a luxury department store, and the wonderful art nouveau market hall, which are both good places for picking up something special. For bargain hunters, Hugo Boss has a factory outlet store in Metzingen, 34 kilometres from Stuttgart.

Königstrasse and Schulstrasse
The city-centre shopping area with department stores, specialist outlets, cafés and places to relax. Street performers from all over the world provide entertainment in this pedestrian precinct which is more than 1km long. Schulstrasse, which became Germany's first pedestrian precinct in 1953, links Königstrasse with the market square and is lined with a variety of fashion shops and eating places.

Calwer Strasse/Passage
Behind the pretty façades of the gabled buildings and historical timber-framed houses are exquisite shops, mainly selling chic fashion wear, jewellery and leather goods - irresistible for browsing and treating yourself.

Bohnenviertel district
It may not be apparent to outsiders, but the old town, although right next to the market square, is separated by a multi-lane main road from the lively district "on the other side". Stuttgart city is known for its rich cultural heritage, in particular its State Theatre (Staatstheater) and State Gallery (Staatsgalerie). The Staatstheater is home to the State opera and three smaller theatres and it regularly stages opera, ballet and theatre productions as well as concerts. The Staatstheater was named Germany/Austria/Switzerland 'Theatre of the year' in 2006; the Stuttgart Opera has won the 'Opera of the year' award six times. Stuttgart Ballet is connected to names like John Cranko and Marcia Haydée.

The city also offers two broadway-style musical theatres, the Apollo and the Palladium Theater (each approx. 1800 seats). Ludwigsburg Palace in the nearby town of Ludwigsburg is also used throughout the year as a venue for concerts and cultural events.

The Schleyerhalle sports arena is regularly used to stage rock and pop concerts with major international stars on European tour.
Stuttgart's Swabian cuisine, beer and wine have been produced in the area since the 1600s and are now famous throughout Germany and beyond. For example, Gaisburger Marsch is a stew that was invented in Stuttgart's Gaisburg area of Stuttgart South.

Stuttgart

Stuttgart is the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. The city lies at the centre of a heavily populated area, circled by a ring of smaller towns. Stuttgart City is spread across a variety of hills (some of them vineyards), valleys and parks - unusual for a German city and often a source of surprise to visitors who primarily associate the city with its industrial reputation as the 'cradle of the automobile'.

Stuttgart has the status of Stadtkreis, a type of self-administrating urban county. It is also the seat of the state legislature, the regional parliament, local council and the Protestant State Church in Württemberg as well as one of the two co-seats of the bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart.

The city's motto is "Stuttgart is more" (to tourists; to business it describes itself as "Standort Zukunft", translated by town hall marketing as "Where business meets the future"). In 2007 the Bürgermeister marketed Stuttgart to foreign investors as "The creative power of Germany". Under current plans to improve transport links to the international infrastructure (as part of the Stuttgart 21 project), in March 2008 the city unveiled a new logo and slogan, describing itself as "Das neue Herz Europas"

Stuttgart is nicknamed the Schwabenmetropole (Swabian metropolis), a reference to the Swabian dialect spoken by the locals. Be aware that while it has only a little more than 500.000 inhabitants, Dresden is larger than Munich when measured by area. Visit and tour to:
Zwinger Palace :The baroque palace features a nympheum, many sculptures of Permoser, a bell pavilion and famous art collections. Do not miss the "Alte Meister" - you'll find the famous Madonna Sistina of Rafael there including the well known angels. There is also a very nice museum on the arms of Saxon kings, the "Rüstkammer".
Semperoper : The building is well worth visiting, as it is one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world. The acoustics and the orchestra - the Staatskapelle, are marvelous. Its history saw many operas of Wagner and Strauss having their first night there. Another important sight in Anderten is the Hindenburg Lock, which was the biggest lock in Europe at the time of construction in 1928. The Animalgarden in the district of Kirchrode is a huge forest and shows the local animals.
In the district of Grob-Buchholz is the Telemax, the tallest building in Lower Saxony and one of the highest television towers in Northern Germany. Some other remarkable towers are the VW-Tower and the old towers of the former mid-age defence belt: Döhrener Tower, Lister Tower and the Horse Tower.
The 36 most important sights of the city centre are connected with a 4.2 kilometres long red line, which is painted on the pavement. This so-called Red Thread marks out a walk that starts at the Tourist Information Office and ends on the Ernst-August-Square in front of the central station. There is also a guided sightseeing-bus tour through the city.

In Hannover

Visit to Hannover/hanover Germany
The Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen: The Great Garden is an important European baroque garden. The palace itself, however, was largely destroyed by Allied bombing. Some points of interest are the Grotto. the Galery Building, the Orangerie and the two pavillons of Remy de la Fosse. The Great Garden consists of several parts. The most popular ones are the Great Ground and the Neuveau Jardin. At the centre of the Neuveau Jardin is Europe's highest garden fountain. The historic Garden Theatre hosts the musicals of the German rock musician Heinz Rudolf Kunze.
Berggarten is an important European botanical garden. Some points of interest are the Tropical House, the Cactus House, the Canary House and the Orchid House, which hosts one of the world's biggest collection of orchids, and free-flying birds and butterflies. Near the entrance to the Berggarten is the historic Library Pavillon. The Mausoleum of the Guelphs is also located in the Berggarten. Like the Great Garden, the Berggarten also consists of several parts, for example the Paradies and the Prairie Garden. There is also the Sea Life Centre Hanover, which is the first tropical aquarium in Germany.
The Georgengarten is an English landscape garden. The Leibniz Temple and the Georgen Palace are two points of interest there.
Other gardens are the Guelph Garden with the Guelph Palace and the Prince Garden. Nearby are the Water Art, the Hardenbergsche House and the Prince House.
The landmark of Hanover is the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus). Inside the building are four scale models of the town and the only working diagonal elevator in Germany, which goes up the large dome.
Hanover Zoo is one of the most spectacular and best zoos in Europe. The zoo received the Park Scout Award for the third year running in 2008, placing it among the best zoos in Germany. The zoo consists of several theme-areas: Sambesi, Meyers Farm, Gorilla-Mountain, Jungle-Palace, and Mullewapp. Some smaller areas are Australia, the wooded area for wolves, and the so-called swimming area with many seabirds. There is also a tropical house, a jungle house, and a show arena. The new Alaska-themed area, Yukon Bay, is still under construction.

Hannover city Germany

Hannover Germany is not a typical European city. Don't expect to see beautiful centuries-old buildings; the city was one of the hardest hit during the World War II, leaving it with only a few historical landmarks. Even the Old City (Altstadt) area is "new"; all the old houses left standing after the war (around 40) were taken from throughout the city and collected in one place.
Hannover city has large green areas, with forests and big parks. The landscape is mostly flat, with the river Leine going through the city. The lake Masch (Maschsee) is rather spectacular, considering its size as a man-made object.
The city had a special relationship to the late French artist Niki de Saint-Phalle. She had several of her works in public spots in Hanover (i.e., "the Nanas", "the Cave" in the Great Garden) and also in the Sprengel Museum. To honor her contribution to Hanover, she was granted an honorary citizenship from the city government. Moreover, the recently renovated "underground" shopping passageway from the central station to Kröpcke was named "The Niki de Saint-Phalle Promenade".
Kropcke
Kropcke is a large pedestrian area in the heart of Hanover. It is Hanover's major shopping spot and has lots of eating possibilities. The underground tram station is the crossing point of all underground trams. Two tram lines that never go underground ran nearby (stops at 'Hauptbahnhof' or 'Steintor'). There is a big green clock in Kröpcke (KröpckeUhr) which serves as a meeting point. The Opera House is also located here.

Hannover / Hanover

This City Founded in medieval times on the left (south) bank of the river Leine, Hannover was a small village of ferrymen and fishermen that became a comparatively large town in the 13th century as a natural crossroads. In a time of relatively difficult overland transportation, its position on the upper navigable reaches of the river positioned it for increased trade and growth. Connected to the Hanseatic League city of Bremerhaven via the Leine river from its place near the southern edge of the wide central German plains to its north and situated to the north and west of the Harz mountain barrier to the southeast it enjoyed a mountain skirting "crossroads" position in mule train dominated based east-west land traffic. Hanover essentially acted as a gateway to the Rhine, the Ruhr and Saar River valleys and their industrial areas to the southwest, for the plains regions both to its east and north, as well as overland traffic skirting the Hartz between the Low Countries and Saxony or Thuringia.
In the 14th century the main churches of Hannover were built, as well as a city wall with three town gates to secure the city. With the coming of the beginnings of industrialization in Germany, trade in iron and silver from the northern Hartz mountains increased the city's importance.
In 1636, the Elector of Calenberg, the new Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, decided to move his residence to Hanover. His electorate was afterwards known as the Electorate of Hanover (see: House of Hanover). His descendants would later become monarchs of Great Britain (after 1801, monarchs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland). The first of them was George I, who ascended to the British throne in 1714. Three kings of Great Britain, or the United Kingdom, were at the same time Electoral Princes of Hannover.
During the time of the personal union of the crowns of the United Kingdom and Hanover (1714–1837), the monarch rarely visited the city. In fact, during the reigns of the final three joint rulers (1760–1837), there was only one short visit, by George IV, in 1821. Usually, a viceroy represented the monarch in Hanover.
During the Seven Years' War on July 26, 1757, the Battle of Hastenbeck took place near the city. The French army defeated the Hanoverian Army of Observation, leading to the city's occupation.

Hannover - Hanover Germany

Hanover / Hannover City on the river Leine, is the capital of the federal state of Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen), Germany and was once by personal union the family seat of the Hanoverian Kings of Great Britain, in their dignities as the dukes of Brunswick-Lüneburg (which title was later called the Elector of Hanover at the end of the historical period known as Early Modern Europe). There are two outstanding buildings on this square: the ducal palace and the new town hall. The palace was built by Duke Wilhelm of Nassau in 1840. For the twenty-six remaining years of ducal authority it was the residence of the ruling family. Today the building serves as Landtag for the federal state of Hesse. The new town hall replaced the old one in 1887. Engraved in the paving in front of the town hall are the heraldic eagle of the Holy Roman Empire, the lion of Nassau, and the lilies of Wiesbaden.

The Protestant Marktkirche was built during 1852 to 1862 in a neo-Gothic style. Another building from the regency of Duke Wilhelm is the Luisenplatz, a square named for the Duke's first wife. It is surrounded by Neoclassicist buildings, and in the middle of the square is the Waterloo Obelisk, commemorating the Nassauers who died in the wars against Napoleon.

The monumental Kurhaus ("spa house & casino) and the Hessian state theater are from the time of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Apart from the palace in the center, the ducal family had a large palace on the banks of the Rhine, known as Schloss Biebrich. Even the "old" Romans knew of the "Aquis Mattiacis".
If you like saunaing and wellness you really have to plan one day for relaxing at the Kaiser-Friedrich Therme in the city center. This old spa lets you feel like Caesar with its old roman frescoes and its four saunas, swimming pool and whirlpools.
The spring bathing business became important for Wiesbaden near the end of the Middle Ages. In 1370, sixteen bath houses were in operation. By 1800, there were 2,239 inhabitants and twenty-three bath houses. Among visitors to the springs were Goethe, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Richard Wagner, and Johannes Brahms. In 1900, there were 86,100 inhabitants and 126,000 visitors. In those years there were more millionaires living in Wiesbaden than in any other city in Germany. Gambling always followed bathing ("Kur") en suite. Wiesbaden was famous in the 19th century for its casino ("Spielbank"), once rivaling those of Bad Homburg, Baden-Baden or Monaco. Fyodor Dostoevsky suffered from an acute gambling compulsion, he lost all his travel-money in Wiesbaden in 1865.

Wiesbaden

go to Wiesbaden city
this Germany city is very well connected by many highways coming from Frankfurt, Cologne or Mainz. It is about a 30 minute drive from Frankfurt city, and From Cologne it's about a 2 hour drive, and only about 15 minutes from Mainz. Wiesbaden is also easily reachable by trains.
in Wiesbaden, Once you are in the city centre it's pretty to comfortable to just walk around. There's a main pedestrian area "Füßgangerzone" which is basically like an open-air mall (shops line the street but the street is closed off to cars). Many shops, cafes and restaurants can be found in this area. If you want to go further out of the city centre, you can use the developed bus system.
In Wiesbaden city
The most attractive building in Wiesbaden is the Kurhaus situated in the city center. Built for emperor Wilhelm around 1900 it serves as wellness and leisure time centre. It also offers a pretty garden where you can walk around or relax. Next to it are two further important buildings: the famous casino and the theatre.
The Bahá'í Temple or House of Worship , While not located in Wiesbaden, it's in a small town called Langenhain, only about a 15 minute drive away through pleasant countryside and forest, and only one of eight such Temples around the world

Wiesbaden city Germany

Wiesbaden, a city in southwest Germany, is the capital of the state of Hesse. The city is on the right, northern, bank of the river Rhine. It lies opposite the city of Mainz on the other side of the river, and is near Frankfurt am Main.
Wiesbaden is a historic spa city, which has catered to people from countries near and far for many centuries. Even the "old" Romans knew of the "Aquis Mattiacis".
After World War II, the state of Hesse was established and Wiesbaden became its capital, though nearby Frankfurt am Main is much larger and contains many Hessian government offices. Wiesbaden however suffered much less than Frankfurt from air bombing. There is a constant rumour that the U.S. Army Air Force spared the town due to its scheduled function as a postwar HQ, but recent research from USAAF sources has shown this to be a myth. Wiesbaden's economic and strategic importance simply did not justify more bombing. Wiesbaden was host to the Headquarters, U.S. Air Forces, Europe based at the former Lindsey Air Station from 1953 to 1973.
American armed forces have been present in Wiesbaden since World War II. The U.S. Army's 1st Armored Division is still headquartered at the Wiesbaden Army Airfield, just off the Autobahn toward Frankfurt. Smaller supporting American kasernes and housing areas are scattered around the city. More Americans are moving in from bases scheduled to be closed such as Darmstadt and Heidelberg.

Germany cities

Berlin city : the reunified and reinvigorated capital of Germany; known for its division during the Cold War and the Berlin Wall. Since Land is the literal German word for "country", the term Bundesländer (federal states; singular Bundesland) is commonly used colloquially, as it is more specific, though technically incorrect within the corpus of German law.
The citizens of the states form the nation of Germany, and have the right of abode within the states. Even so it is much smaller in size compared with most of the other leading nations in the world. Germany is a federalist country with a highly decentralised structure and has several large urban cities. Therefore, the capital Berlin is not as dominant to the rest of the nation as say London is in the United Kingdom or Paris in France. Nevertheless, it has been touted as one of the world's most fashionable big cities since the early 90s.
The undisputed financial capital of Germany is Frankfurt and features an unusual skyline for Central Europe with its many high-rise buildings and an ever growing airport.
Germany Cars are a symbol of national pride. Company's such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and Volkswagen (VW) are famous internationally for their quality, safety and style. This quality is matched by Germany's excellent network of roadways including the world famous Autobahn network, which has many sections without speed limits and lots of speed hungry drivers on it. Germany also features an extensive network of high speed trains - the InterCityExpress (ICE).

Germany : Education

Responsibility for educational oversight in Germany lies primarily with the federal states individually whilst the government only has a minor role. Optional kindergarten education is provided for all children between three and six years old, after which school attendance is compulsory for at least nine years. Primary education usually lasts for four years and public schools are not stratified at this stage. In contrast, secondary education includes four types of schools based on a pupil's ability as determined by teacher recommendations: the Gymnasium includes the most gifted children and prepares students for university studies and attendance lasts eight or nine years depending on the state; the Realschule has a broader range of emphasis for intermediary students and lasts six years; the Hauptschule prepares pupils for vocational education, and the Gesamtschule or comprehensive school combines the three approaches.
Germany study in university :
To enter a university, high school students are required to take the Abitur examination, similar to A-levels; however, students possessing a diploma from a vocational school may also apply to enter. A special system of apprenticeship called Duale Ausbildung allows pupils in vocational training to learn in a company as well as in a state-run school. Most German universities are state-owned and charge for tuition fees ranging from €50–500 per semester from each student. Germany's universities are recognised internationally, indicating the high education standards in the country. World University Rankings, 10 German universities were ranked amongst the top 200 in the world.

GERMANY

Germany is a country in Central Europe, bordered to the north by the North Sea, Denmark, and the Baltic Sea; to the east by Poland and the Czech Republic; to the south by Austria and Switzerland; and to the west by France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
A Most of Germany has a temperate seasonal climate in which humid westerly winds predominate.
